Hi guys. Have been trialing GP for the last few days and am very impressed with the software. Originally I set up GP on my PI4 ,connected a usb hard drive and got a working system. I have now setup an x86 pc with the same usb harddrive and GP running minum server. I can see the music on my bedroom pc running win10 and Jriver but when I try to mount a remote disc on the Pi4 player I am not able to mount the disc , with this being returned : "mount error(111): could not connect to 192.168.20.15Unable to find suitable address."

or this "

mount.nfs: rpc.statd is not running but is required for remote locking.
mount.nfs: Either use '-o nolock' to keep locks local, or start statd.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nfs sharing is through the router?

you seem to have the same problem as @DomieMic65.

You need to change the sharing settings on your router...

No on a x86 the 64b headless version.

Ramdisk mode 3 - Squeezelite, Squeezelite-R2, Mpd, Networkaudiod, RoonServer, Hqplayer Embedded, UpMPDcli, BubbleUpnp

minimserver it should work for everything...

if you have enough ram you can also use Ramdisk mode 5 which is complete with everything.....
It's written xfce but it's also good on headless...

In my case worked when I enabled the nfs service on GentooPlayer, after following @antonellocaroli instructions.
I don’t know if in the latest image it runs by default!

May be I should give all the following commands?

"uhubctl -l 1-1 -p 4 -a 0"

"uhubctl -l 2 -p 4 -a 0"

"uhubctl -l 3 -p 1 -a 0"

What about this commend from the above link ?? : "You may need to update firmware to vl805 00137ac or later to make power switching work on RPi 4B"

Will power switching work on GentooPlayer?

Thank you!!!

I have noticed that after having removed a software component (for instance, 'squeezelite') that very component is still in the list of removable software. Is that the intended behavior? I would rather expect a removed software to disappear from the lest of removable software.

the screens are in Italian, but I think you can understand...

Hi Antone, I don't have those pages on my router, both the pi and the server are on the same non managed switch and have static routes to the router.
