edwardsean
Trying to figure something out. When I use poly-sinc-ext2 to go from 44.1 ➔ 705.6 and set it to auto rate family in HQP desktop it goes to 384. When I do the same in HQP Pro it converts to 705.6 whether I have auto rate family checked or not. Am I doing something wrong? Link to comment

Desktop does that for 48/96/192 sources because you have upper limit at 705.6 and 384 is highest 48-base one below it. The main window selection in Pro always overrides settings. I should remove the auto rate family from the settings dialog since it is not very useful there. Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment
skipspence
Old topic - not supported anymore?)) Trying to evaluate HQP Pro 4.22.2 converting to DSD1024 with no results... Looks like conversion ok but all attempts to play the result .dsf file is silence between short outbursts of noise.. Time meter slowing like converting again: 3 seconds for 1, CPU load 70%!! I5 10600 Windows 11 NAA or USB direct - all same results 0 Did I miss something, or has my Windows11 any components missing? Any hints for possible fix @Miska? Thanks Audio System Link to comment
bogi
I'm not using Pro, but it probably has similar settings like Desktop. If so, do you have Direct DSD checked? Do you use convolution or Matrix pipeline processing? Volume control (other than 0dB) is also DSP on DSD1024 content. skipspence 1 i7 11850H + RTX A2000 Win11 HQPlayer ► Topping HS02 ► 2x iFi iSilencer ► SMSL D300 ► DIY headamp DHA1 ► HiFiMan HE-500 Link to comment

When Direct DSM is active, it is shown instead in filter/modulator place. Please note that this also disables volume control and locks it to -3 dBFS for PCM! skipspence 1 Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment
