Thank you for this tip.  I feel almost guilty, practically stealing Cary's music for $9.23, but I have bought a few of his releases over the years and appreciate this gesture of kindness to his fans.  I dunno that I will get through 39 albums by almost any artist, but Cary is a fine player indeed.  I especially look forward to hearing the solo and trio records.

I put the entire set on "shuffle" mode and am working through it, and I already owned a couple. I know I won't like everything, but what the heck. I figured if he was making the offer, I'd buy the whole thing without going through each piece. It will also make me more likely to buy his stuff in the future as a payback.

I am surprised that most of this set is hi-res (24/44, 24/48 or even 24/96 in one case).  Also, one ofbthe a,bum covers suggests it's a Betty Carter, with Cary in her backing trio.  Remarkable collection.
