And the analog inputs have gone too.

Looks like they are there to me. "Built in analog preamp". Sounds like you can switch it between line input or phono input.
Feature and price wise, this is a very tempting unit. Should sound good too, if it is the same as the namesake DAC.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)

True, but you'd probably save a little money by getting rid of cables and possibly interfaces such as Schiit Eitr

Certainly the value of the built in streamer is debatable. For some, it's a pure cost calculation: "I can get a decent streamer and cables for less than $7-800"; or they want the flexibility of picking a streamer; for others, the one box solution and and lack of cable spaghetti is an added value in and of itself; or they may assume the built in streamer has some potential sonic advantages also.
