Popular Post sphinxsix
I actually happened to smuggle some seeds from Switzerland in my early 20's. I followed the idea of my good Swiss friend who happened to be a very successful marijuana small, personal scale grower and we put them in the barrel of a small lead cannon which we closed with a cannonball (he had a collection of lead soldiers, not mentioning the fact that he had a real flipper machine in his living room on which I used to play for hours using a 1 Frank coin, which kid would today be able to understand the joy of a flipper machine ). christopher3393 and Iving 2 Link to comment

sphinxsix
This black chicken isn’t just dark, but it’s entirely black—down to its bones! Indigenous to Indonesia, these Goth fowls’ internal organs and muscles are also inky-colored.. Some black bird music. christopher3393 1 Link to comment

Popular Post Iving
THE MOST IMPORTANT BIRD SONG IN HISTORY ... ELSE WE'RE HISTORY! "NO NUKES!" The Crow On The Cradle [Sydney Carter] From the liner notes of Lady Maisery's second CD 'Mayday' (2013): The singing crow that perches on the baby's cradle in The Crow on the Cradle is perhaps the most foreboding symbol of warning on this album. Written by Sydney Carter during the height of cold war tensions, it is a bleak reminder of how the decisions we make impact the generations after us. The juxtaposition of vivid images of war, against those from nursery rhymes and lullabies, make this song particularly chilling for us. The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn, Now is the time for a child to be born. He'll laugh at the moon and he'll cry for the sun, And if he's a boy he will carry a gun, 𝄆 Sang the crow on the cradle. 𝄇 And if it should be that this baby's a girl, O never you mind if her hair doesn't curl. With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, And a bomber above her wherever she goes, 𝄆 Sang the crow on the cradle. 𝄇 The crow on the cradle, the black and the white, O somebody's baby is born for a fight. The crow on the cradle, the white and the black, O somebody's baby is not coming back, 𝄆 Sang the crow on the cradle. 𝄇 Your mother and father, they'll sweat and they'll save; To build you a coffin and dig you a grave. Hushabye, little one, never you weep? For we've got a toy that will put you to sleep, 𝄆 Sang the crow on the cradle. 𝄇 Bring me a gun and I'll shoot that bird dead, That's what your mother and father once said. The crow on the cradle, what shall we do? 𝄆 This is the thing that I leave up to you. 𝄇 Pete Seeger (1961) Judy Collins (1962) Ian Campbell Folk Group (1963) Jackson Browne, Graham Nash & David Lindley (No Nukes - 1979-Sept.) Popular Post Iving
This seems like a good juncture to reflect on James Burton's chicken pickin' style. I have the Album 'Corn pickin' and Slick Slidin'' on vinyl but not CD. The second video is James talking to some dudes in a guitar shop about how he makes his tele sound like a chicken ... then Johnny Hiland. imho that's what guitars were made for. Well - not just chicken noises. Trains too. christopher3393 and sphinxsix 2 Link to comment
