Help on connectivity options for MiniDSP DDRC-24 please

Hi Folks, I am looking at purchasing the MiniDSP DDRC-24 and wanted to integrate it with my existing setup and would like to seek comments if the below diagram would work OK?

 

My intention is to place the DDRC-24 after my UMC204HD Audio interface so that DIRAC could compensate the signals from my instruments that would come in via the XLR on the UMC204HD.

 

Would appreciate your advice.

Yea you would just map an input channel to one of the four output channels that's connected to the speakers.  If you get the minidsp 2x4hd (same as the one you're looking at minus Dirac) you can achieve similar results with REW etc. There's always the option to buy a Dirac license and upgrade it if you really want/need that.
