Superdad
Okay, this is not a clock and not an AM/FM radio, but the Vifa Helsinki is the beast darn portable speaker I have ever owned (3.5mm stereo jack and Bluetooth). I know it looks like a purse and is not cheap, but we take it on every vacation trip and to small house parties and people are always shocked by how full and natural it sounds. You can check many comparative reviews as well. https://www.vifa.dk/products-not-menu/helsinki/ It really is a quality piece--bested only by its larger and more expensive siblings. Tivoli developed some long-throw woofers for theirs Vifa is a major speaker driver manufacturer, so of course it uses their own drivers. Here is a short video showing them. There are more than just the ones you see. UpTone Audio LLC Link to comment

Loved that thing. What I especially liked was the soothing sound of the leaves dropping as each minute would flip to the next. 50 years later my brain can still recall that sound.
