I imagine it could be for a music band--or at least for an album cover. showing good taste, as always! Here's another classic, celebrating the idyllic sense at the heart of Americana: This was an inspiration for so many songwriters! Not a dry eye in the house. Link to comment

christopher3393
Milk Cow Blues: a classic! A little background: "Milk Cow Blues" is a blues song written and originally recorded by Kokomo Arnold in September 1934. In 1935 and 1936, he recorded four sequels designated "Milk Cow Blues No. 2" through No. 5. The song made Arnold a star, and was widely adapted by artists in the blues, Western swing and rock idioms. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milk_Cow_Blues) The version Willie covers begins at 3:15: When Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys cover it in 1946, it's gone through a musical makeover: Elvis covered it as "Milkcow Blues Boogie" in '55. It is full tilt rockabilly. rando 1 Link to comment
christopher3393
Now to thicken the plot, there were other versions of Milkcow blues floating around in the 20s and 30s. Chief among them is Sleepy John Estes 1930 song: ...which is covered by Robert Johnson in '36 as "Milkcow's Calf Blues": ...which is covered on Eric Clapton's tribute to Robert Johnson album. Popular Post christopher3393
These two cows were ruminating and one says, I was listening to the milkmaid’s transistor and this French philosopher was explaining that there’s no English translation of the French word ‘betise’ except ‘stupidity’ but ‘stupidity’ only refers to man where the French ‘betise’ means to behave like an animal… and the other cow says well what’s wrong with that and the first cow says well his point is, English cows can’t be stupid; only man can be stupid.. and the other cow says well that’s a relief then so does that mean that French cows can be stupid and the first cow says no because they don’t have a word for it in French so the other cow says so then is it better to be an English cow that can’t be stupid or a French cow that can’t be called stupid and the first cow says who cares, I’ve always said the French ruminate too much and then talk bullshit… and the other cow says I’m glad I’m a Jersey what about that French milkmaid I call sexyhands but the farmer sometimes calls a silly cow I wonder what Derrida would say about that Michael Shepherd DuckToller and Superdad 1 1 Link to comment

christopher3393
"The cows'll moo in the clover" Idyllic! But be careful: potential bloat problem. Sweet clover is a legume so it can cause bloat. Cows need variety! Oklahoma! also addresses the epic struggle between 2 archetypal forces (Hugh Jackman alert): Link to comment

The world is a strange place that someone would spend that much time animating such a thing as this. What audience would it be aimed at? According to the website, the song itself (sans video) charted well in Switzerland and South Africa and was also relatively successful in wider release (Europe and Japan). As for the video: "THE INFAMOUS MUH! VIDEO CLIP YouTube banned it from my own channel because of its “pornographic” content. Funny that it’s still readily available on other YouTube channels. Actually it’s pretty harmless, unless you are very prudish. The video was created by a student of a German Film Academy as his graduate work. We only found out later about it and we didn’t have any influence on the content of the clip. So don’t blame us!" I see it as cheerful nihilism. YMMV. ? Link to comment
