Popular Post CatManDo
This is actually not an RVG remaster. Qobuz used the wrong info and cover. https://www.qobuz.com/lu-fr/album/somethin-else-the-rvg-edition-cannonball-adderley/0060253764816 The Blue Note remasters made in 24/192 (usually also offered in 24/96) since 2012 were done by Bernie Grundman or Alan Yoshida. semente and Les Habitants 2 Claude Link to comment

Popular Post AudioDoctor
Well, after that post above I compared it to the 8track in my buddies mint Gremlin and the 24/192 version on Qobuz still sounded better... Then again, if we are not sure if it's mislabeled or not, I don't know which version to compare it to. woodford and Les Habitants 1 1 No electron left behind. Link to comment

While I would prefer MQA go away, the Tidal 96k version (and 192k) sounds identical to the Qobuz 192k version to me. Just the first 'unfold' by Roon. Probably the same mastering, as you hint. CatManDo
Yes, most of the Blue Note hi-rez download reissues were offered in 24-192 and 24-96, using the same remastering. AudioDoctor 1 Claude Link to comment

I already have a 24/192 mono version (HDtracks) of this, and I don't want to repurchase another mono version. Thanks! Link to comment

The RVG version (CD) is stereo but all the HR versions I have are mono. I suspect that the Qobuz version is the same as the one that HDTracks sells. That said, the mono version sounds pretty darn good. Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull Link to comment
Musicophile
I just ended up buying this from Qobuz as part of their summer sale for €4.49 (with Sublime discount). Not a bad deal, and agree, a very nice remaster. Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment
Rexp
This album still appears to be wrongly titled on Qobuz store @David Craff The middle one is the 1999 RVG version, not the top one. Not sure why it is only available in CD quality (sounds good tho) ? Link to comment
