Songbird / iPhone remote app

I'm trying out the new version of Songbird (1.8) and so far I'm happy with it. But for me to use it I need the ability to remotely control the program. I have the free version of the Songbird app (1.2.1)on my iPod Touch but it won't connect with/doesn't see the copy of Songbird running on the computer. The iPod sees the wireless network and the iTunes controller app runs iTunes just fine. But not Songbird.

 

When I run the Songbird app and press the "Connection" button, it goes to a screen telling me to select the Songbird with which I want to connect. But there are no choices available.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
