nigel
Went to my first San Francisco Symphony concert of the season yesterday. Heard some wonderful live music, including Copland's Quiet City and Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony. They also played Copland's Organ Symphony, which was recorded for future release on the orchestra's own SFS Media label. Some SFS Media recordings are available on HDTracks.com in 88kHz/24bit. nigel[br]ALAC stored on Drobo -> Mac Mini -> iTunes -> Airport Express (1st gen) -> Monoprice toslink -> NAD M2 Direct Digital Amplifier -> Wilson Benesch Curve Link to comment
nigel
I forgot to comment on the sound quality of the concert, which was so good that, if I closed my eyes, I could almost imagine that I was sitting at home in front of my loudspeakers, except for all the coughing. nigel[br]ALAC stored on Drobo -> Mac Mini -> iTunes -> Airport Express (1st gen) -> Monoprice toslink -> NAD M2 Direct Digital Amplifier -> Wilson Benesch Curve Link to comment
