roccoriley
I have a good stereo system and RTR tape recorder. I would like to make some high resolution digital files from some production master tapes. I was thinking of buying a Weiss ADC2, analog to digital converter. My question is: Is the creation of high quality conversions via the ADC2 something that is relatively straightforward or is it likely to turn out to be a complicated, time consuming pain! Oh, and yes, I do know these will be huge files but I have plenty of NAS storage. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with direct experience in this especially any ADC2 users. Thanks! hifitubes
I think it would be straightforward, once you get all the gear and software set up and sorted out. Vinyl is another story. I do needledrops and use a Mytek ADC 192 that I am very happy with; it's some work though of course.
