Set up iPod Touch as a remote

Recommended Posts

First download Remote app from Apple (free) then start it with your iTunes running on your macbook. The iTunes will ask for a code which will be displayed on your iTouch. Simply type in the code into iTunes when it prompts you and voila...you are connected my friend. Great app that doesn't get near the props it should. Unless you are asking it to completely run your desktop then you need a VNC program (like Vudu)and iTeleport (downloadable from app store) and install those two and you should be good to go. I have those running

my computer through an iPhone. Not terrificaly easy to run but at least you have access to your files and can run things remotely from anywhere.
