Although I've only had this in the system for a couple days, compared to the "default" configuration I hear a more tonally dense presentation as well as a slightly more forward presentation. One of the more pronounced differences is the presentation of cymbals. With the PNF version, there is more density (or, to use PeterSt's description, a less whitish sound), a longer and more prominent sustain, and a good metallic ring. Overall, I wouldn't characterize these differences as huge; I still need to listen carefully to pick up on the differences in my system. A good find, however. Probably the best test is to keep this in my system for a matter of weeks and then switch back and see what I hear. Doak and PeterSt 1 1 Link to comment
