luisma Posted February 10, 2019 Share Posted February 10, 2019 It went away about 10 min after getting the message, during these 10 min I could not play and the message was repeated over and over again. I could have done the trial but decided to pay for sublime (which kind of I regret because I can use qobuz marginally in terms of content and I cannot cancel Tidal yet because of this , I should have done the trial and then switch over full subscription). So I guess you both @left channel and @ddetaey you are on sublime too as you are regulars on these threads, just checking to see if we are comparing apples to apples subscriptions wise (maybe the trial could have different kind of restrictions?) Qobuz Support maybe because of the beta is not very responsive yet, I opened a ticket mentioning issues with content a few days ago and no answer yet, thanks to @dmackta for promptly answering here in this thread. The content issues could be also related to roon, money for nothing from brother in arms, played yesterday on my qobuz phone app did not played and skipped in roon selecting same qobuz album saying title was unavailable so I guess a few more things have to be polished. Met few of the qobuz team at Florida audio last Friday, some cool kid named Eric, nice guy, I mentioned very politely the MQA 2L issue and he asked me if I was part of the.... And I said "mob? No I'm not but I kind of disagree with the statement, he said qobuz stands behind their statement which is fair, anyways good to see some faces. Someone else David Solomon was also there demoing some content at the Mark Levinson room. Link to comment

The Qobuz system seems to see each instance as a separate device, and clearly the database wasn't updated quickly enough in your case. I expect that they will continue to improve the server side, just as they are working on improvements to the clients. Also customer service: last month I received a reply about the US beta within two days, but I'm sure they're overwhelmed with new questions and new staffing in US right now. I subscribe to Sublime+ in the UK, and a Studio plan with one month free in the US beta. If all goes well then later this year I will probably sign up for a year of Studio with two months free, and drop the UK account. Studio did not exist when I originally signed up in the UK, and I don't purchase enough downloads to make Sublime+ worthwhile. I'm able to "roam" in either country, so-to-speak; it's just signup and payment that are now tied to local addresses. Great to hear the Qobuz USA team is roaming too! Thanks for representing. Anything new and interesting at the Florida Audio Expo from Qobuz or others? I'm planning my AXPONA schedule now. Everyone wants to date my avatar. Link to comment

Just tested now simultaneous streaming phone and roon and works, funny I just received 5 minutes ago an email from support at qobuz, maybe they noticed my post? Just tested the content availability in qobuz app vs roon, definitely there is a problem, roon is behind somehow and cannot play much content, I will post screenshots here Show was small, 6 floors at about 6 to 8 exhibitors per floor, mostly local dealers with cost effective and more expensive rooms side by side. Since this is Florida and there is a lot of apartments and small space housing most exhibitors were showing small speakers, bookshelves etc. My impressions. There were impressive rooms with good sound, Martin Logan / Parasound and VAC /Von Schweikert audio, these were the bigger rooms and more expensive as well but by comparison and IMO However and it may have been the content been played the Mark Levinson room demoing JBLs Classic L100 in a tiny room by comparison sounded amazing, I think his name is Dave not sure with Mark Levinson he was playing good content and maybe the impression was there. At RMAF one good sound was Paradigm with the persona bookshelves and Anthem, they were at Florida as well but instead the bookshelves they demoed the big towers (go figure different than the others) sound was very good as usual. Nola open baffle brio Quattro very good sound. The most impressive room for the money and convenience (and please don't get the pitchforks out) Vanatoo, these little speakers with their built in dac and class d amp and sub output with automatic xover project some sound for people on a budget. I know we won't be replacing our systems but I think I will get a pair for bedroom and terrace use. Very good unexpected sound. The spendor audio a7 (little spendor) was very good as well So my favorites were mark levinson jbl, paradigm anthem , spendor a7 with vpi and creek audio and definitely vanatoo By the way the spendor was auditioned with a mono cartridge and I wasn't missing stereo at all Sorry for the long description left channel 1 Link to comment

Sometimes the booklet comes up sideways. Can we get something to turn it 90 degrees? Re accommodating various screen sizes, maybe zoom of the booklet needs to be a configurable option. Hi, That's wrong, you can have 3 devices but you cannont play at the same time. Only one device for the same account can play at the same time. Often needs the play button pressing again after a track has finished. I don't have this problem on Tidal. How are you finding them, Peter? With a UK Sublime+ account, I only see one version of each DS album, when searching via iPad app for 'Dire Straits'. Mark Dirac Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 I am having to pick tracks which are not hi-res! - my Chromecast Audio has begun experiencing dropouts on 96k. Not 16/44, and not 24/44. It has been working fine for weeks, but has been doing this for about 5 days now. Anyone else getting this with CCA? My internet is fine (70Mbps), the CCA is connected over ethernet, and I have tried two different DACs. Also tried casting both from Windows10 and from Android. UK account, not beta. Works fine with DAC fed by Windows PC and DAC fed by Android. I assume that Qobuz is feeding a different stream / from different IP address to a CCA than it would to a PC (don't really know why I should assume this) and I suspect that this could be what is wrong. Mark Dirac Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 I have just spent 50 minutes IMing with Chromecast support. What a strange character these mega corporates have. If they were individuals, we would definitely describe them as mentally insane. As expected, no progress at all. Except to point out that the current CCA software has been upgrade since the support thread you posted above Axell. (Is now 1.36) So could be a new or different or re-emergent bug. (I am intrigued that it only started for me last week.) Link to comment
