The catalog and sophisticated tastes it reflects, lack of spangles added to please every hard felt sentiment expressed, a proven solid platform that works perfectly well for most of the rest of the 1st world countries. I especially appreciate that you don't appear willing to be pushed into rushing the release. Two months from now when "Indoor Sports Season" starts in earnest. It might actually be a more appreciated development than it would beginning of next month when everyone is riddled with hype from the shot gun blasts of product release reporting. Our product is good but not perfect and I think the American market is more demanding than the European market. So if it were up to me, I would postpone the release in the USA even more. But I only have the product vision and not business, so it won't depend on me alone. It does not change the fact that the product is working and that everything necessary will be done to improve it further. rando and AudioDoctor 2 Qobuz Product Manager for Desktop, Web Player and Search Engine. The service seems rock steady and I've had no problem in daily use. I'm a Tidal and Deezer subscriber as well and I can say that when Qobuz formally launches in the US and is integrated with Roon I will be dropping my Tidal subscription. Great job on the rollout and infrastructure Qobuz has developed in prep for launch. Thanks, but we know that we have problem with DLNA, some issues.. Android app need to be realy improve. One thing- I really like in A+3 the old format on Qobuz of 'new releases' 'Qobuz playlists' 'most streamed' 'best sellers' 'editors picks' and 'press awards' than what is offered under the new desktop app with the vinyl and tone arm- I bet others like that better- in addition A+3 to me sounds 'better' maybe because A+3 plays 'up' from FLAC 16/44.1 to my Merdian Explorer 2 in 24/176.4 and on my pre-multibit Schiit Gungnir to 24/192 bobbmd You can find New Releases, Press Awards etc on the new discover too. But the navigation is not the same. For "in addition A+3 to me sounds 'better' maybe because A+3 plays 'up' from FLAC 16/44.1 to my Merdian Explorer 2 in 24/176.4 and on my pre-multibit Schiit Gungnir to 24/192" A+3 sounds better (for you) because it apply some secret audio filter. Even proven customer complaints haven't had consequences for the catalog so far. The HiRes fakes, I complained about are largely still in the Qobuz catalog since 2015. As a download customer you're able to analyze the files with tools like e.g. MusicScope, may complain and usually get a compensation. Possibly you can purchase the album again in the correct resolution from a more reliable competitor. As Sublime + streaming subscriber, you are stranded and must rely on the correctly streamed resolution, even if the hearing conveys something different. Selling and streaming digital content like HiRes files is a matter of trust and a content provider like Qobuz.com should be responsible that their customers reliably get for what they have paid. To sell or stream consciously incorrect labeled digital files is customer deception, not only from my point of view. Thank you for the feedback. This is indeed a problem we have with suppliers. We have a team dedicated to this problem that tries to control the files as much as possible to make sure that it is indeed a Hi-Res file. We need to implement a more efficient, automatic and effective test procedure to meet the needs of our catalogue. This is one of the many areas for improvement at Qobuz, we have every confidence in it. David.. Audirvana Plus always transcodes the audio file tracks to WAV files for the UPnP/DLNA streamer, by decoding them first through its audio engine, which also allows any optional filter/DSP settings to be applied. On Qobuz Desktop we send directly the track file url, we do not convert the file in wav audio format before. So the sound renderer is the same. My problem is the well known one of DLNA/UPnP incompatibilities. Does not work with SOtM, or Digione but curiously does work with the Dynaudio Connect DLNA/UPnP implementation. Hoping for an improved release soon. Anyone hear a new date for public release of Qobuz yet? Unfortunately the news are not good for DLNA / uPNP: we have not yet found a solution to the problems encountered. The leads are becoming clearer despite everything. In the meantime we pass the DLNA / uPNP listening feature as an option, disabled by default (You can enable it in the application settings). We are not abandoning this feature and are still looking for a solution, unfortunately it will take longer than expected. Qobuz Product Manager for Desktop, Web Player and Search Engine. The desktop app seems stable. With Chromecast at 16/44 I'm also hearing skips and hiccups. Playback of mp3/320 is nearly flawless. I like using Chromecast because the album art, background and queue (on a large TV) are just really GREAT in my opinion. I like the Spotify Connect model and found running the Mac OS Spotify app on a headless Mac connected to a DAC but controlled via tablet app offered an elegant solution. I would love it if the desktop Qobuz app could be controlled by a mobile app or even another desktop app. With that feedback, I still think Qobuz is the streaming service I've wanted since I began streaming!!!
