Popular Post Tinnitus Andronicus
I just installed Audirvana for Windows 10 and logged into Qobuz thru the Audirvana interface. Bingo! It is changing bit/sampling rates correctly for tracks of different resolution in my playlist, and Voila! I am now listening to 24/192 hi-res files of the 50th Anniversary mix of the Stones' Let It Bleed, streamed from Qobuz. No glitches, hangups or issues so far, and it sounds terrific! Thanks for the recommendation, people! I think I'll be paying for the licensed program for permanent use for sure, and keeping my Qobuz subscription going as well after the trial now that I've got past the initial hurdles. So you can add Audirvana to my list of audio apps that work well in my Windows 10 setup. 😀 Jud, Kyhl, exdmd and 1 other 4 "Let the great constellation of flickering ashes be heard..." ~ Noel Scott Engel Link to comment

I think this is to both Qobuz' and Audirvana's advantage. phosphorein, Daccord, exdmd and 1 other 3 1 One never knows, do one? - Fats Waller The fairest thing we can experience is the mysterious. adam2434
Qobuz Team: Any update or timeline for getting the Curb label and Bob Segar in the US? This was mentioned many pages back. I emailed Curb Records about this, and not surprisingly, received no reply. I'm a fan of Lyle Lovett (on Curb), so was surprised to find that his albums are not on Qobuz in the US. Link to comment

The Computer Audiophile
I wish there was a good way to contact these labels / bands etc... I'd love the Seger catalog, but don't look forward to spending hours finding the right people, crafting an email, and having it fall on deaf ears. bobbmd
instead add 4-6 speakers a center channel and a powered subwoofer and viola multichannel !! or get a dvd-a sacd changer cheap on amazon with outlaw audio bass manager ICBM and buy a bunch of them discs to use on the changer PLUS that speaker set up--that way the services/players don't have to waste THEIR $$ on multichannel then watch your CFO go bonkers with all that mess! bobbmd
@dmackta @David Craff Hello- I have a request-I found on archives.org on their Grateful Dead subsection a VRB MP3 files of 162 songs entitled "All Grateful Dead Original Song Debuts ('66-95)" compiled by Eyesoftheworld94. I downloaded them they reside on my hard-drive individually and in a 'zip' file in 'FINDER' as a download-- i have no idea how to transfer them(EASILY) as a playlist to Qobuz(for that matter to TIDAL) or to my ROON playlists or to A+3.5. Could your engineers download this file and create a playlist offered under the 'Folk/Americana' genre section in the Grateful Dead offerings? This is a free uncopywritten set of dead songs made by individuals at the time so it would not violate any Dead material/copyrights as it is available to anyone(which is the way the Dead operated anyway). I found this by accident and it sort of completes my collection of the Dead- did it for 'schiits and giggles' just to hear what they sounded like wayback when--- depending on the soundboards those deadheads recorded on some songs are great others pretty poor but they are first time they ever sang them and I don't care if they are only MP3's everything sounds good on Qobuz. Thank you and Happy Holidays and New Year-thanks for being here in the USA bobbmd Link to comment
leafy
I though this thread will be a more effective way of posting diagnosis for DLNA issues between Qobuz and various MPD based pi-machines. So, I've turned on the DLNA in Beta in my Mac application, version 5.4.0-b009. My Volumio shows up as a device that I can pick as output device, but playback never happens. In the activity log saved, nothing looks helpful. And all new releases going forward have it. I'm finding that Qobuz volume leveling information is quite different (much higher dB) than both Roon local analyzed tracks as well as Tidal with Roon set to use the same LUFS value. Qobuz can be +6-10dB higher than the others. Qobuz also only seems to have included track leveling not album leveling. Having disparate vol leveling data in Roon makes the function much less useful. Roon folks said to contact Qobuz, which I've done but received a response that there is no vol leveling data plus no plans to add it (which is clearly wrong at least for Roon). Can you elaborate if these problems are known and are being worked on or addressed or is this new information? Thank you Mark Dirac 1 Link to comment

sockpit
I'm no longer able to log in to Qobuz in the Kazoo app (neither the iPad app or the desktop app). I have a US qobuz subscription and a microRendu with latest sonicorbitor running on it. I'm running the latest version of Kazoo from Linn. It's supposed to work; it used to work. Here is what happens: When I type my username and password into the qobuz login screen within the Kazoo app on my computer it just spins and "blinks" about ever 3-5 seconds, but never really logs in. When I try the same on my iPad, it tries to make contact and then returns to a blank login screen repeatedly. I am sure I am using the correct password, because it works fine for logging directly into qobuz website and qobuz app. It's difficult to know where the issue is: Sonore? Linn? Qobuz, so I'm posting here in case it's a known issue to the kind folks at Qobuz. I have turned to Jesus at Sonore, and he didn't have a solution to suggest. Thanks in advance for any help provided. sockpit
Downloaded the free MConnect app to my iPhone. Logged in without a hitch. Playing right now. Any limitations to this app? Is it at least as good as Kazoo in paid version? Does it do qobuz and local HD, 24 bit, 192 files, etc? Thanks! Link to comment
