Qobuz issue thread—we’re having no issues but am thankful.

I was fortunate enough to be able to trial Qobuz. 

 

Thus far, it’s been such that I’ll sign up for one year Sublime.  

 

The sound quality is terrific and the quantity thus far as great.  

 

I’m using with Hugo 2 / Beyerdynamic and my wife’s Mojo/Poly while walking.  

 

I am am loving the hi res.

It is user friendly.  I’m not tech savvy and this wasn’t challenging. 

 

Not directed to the poster but an observation here and elsewhere:

 

Qobuz seems to get quite a bit of criticism with the theme of instant gratification born of entitlement.  Perhaps it’s generational/cultural. 

 

I’m so grateful to have an alternative to Tidal with such quality!

My entire album collection is gone from my favorites.  

 

It was over 1,500. 

 

Is this a glitch (iPhone) or was there a limit?  

 

Artists is still in tact.

a “Qobuz Christmas” with the greatest variety I’ve found in any service! 

 

My “releases” is stilll on desktop.  Does it not work on iPhone after a certain amount?  

 

After a recent binge, it’s near 2,000.  

 

Qobuz is something special!

w Qobuz great selection, it’s tricky to retrieve music only by Artist.

I can’t renew. Qobuz has me listed as U.K. and I can’t change profile.  Errant address blocks credit card payment.

I wasn’t able to sign up & my account is locked. I now get a notice to sign up for 30 days free thru Apple.  Hi Res not offered thru Apple. 

 

Im hoping today to get things back in order.

They are likely overwhelmed with this launch.  Their service in Europe is wildly popular and lots of us in the USA want our Qobuz yesterday and in perfection.  We are not a terribly patient people.

Budget :  Mojo is terrific w Qobuz.  My wife & I both use it even though I have Hugo 2.  

 

The size and freedom to use portably make it easy but the sound...wow.

I’ve only hesitated because  it’s been around awhile and I wanted to see if there was more ‘current’ technology out there.

 

Also considering the iFi xDSD, due to its potential MQA compatibility, since I also use Tidal HiFi. 

In the end though, I’ll probably only keep one of the two services...

 

 

 

 

I think it’s wise to be time sensitive here. With this in mind, re-sale value may help.

After being at the same medical facility for 15 years, January 2019, they officially asked what gender I identify as. 

 

Since Prescription medicine and dosages are often gender specific, I asked 

 

“What are my choices?” 

 

 

I, too wanted to ask about the genre/gender thing but feared the wrath of Twitter.
