Official Qobuz Issues Thread

Compared to Tidal, Qobuz always has the tracks of an album in the correct order. Tidal is often a mess. Very common that the tracks of a 3cd album in Tidal are grouped 1.1.1.2.2.2.3.3.3. etc.

Tidal has some albums Qobuz has not and certainly vice versa. I've used both for along time in Europe and I'm sure a keen classical listener will always prefer Qobuz for the amount of interesting albums (with leaflets available) and the way they are presented (tracks are in right order etc).

Sorry to see the RCO Live label exiting Qobuz, but these come a day go, as we know.

It’s always around this time in Europe. People leave work early for the weekend and start playing.

A missing track here and there with no logic is common with at least Bis, Chandos and CPO at the moment. Probably labels distributed by Naxos. Maybe they’re in the middle of negotiations and this is distortion tactique.

Every time I get a newsletter from Qobuz I click one of the links and they never seem to work. Does this open a story about Sonus Faber speakers to you?:

Exactly. Maybe it works after a while. I’ll retry in a couple of hours. 
 

But that’s not something people who receive newsletters do. They click it once and make the conclusion “this never works”.

The Classical Press Awards section is suddenly loaded with hundreds of albums by the label Praga Digitalis. A glitch somewhere, surely.

Jordi Savall is a popular artist, whose albums seem to be scattered and need special care to find. 

 

For example the album Granada Eterna is tagged to Jordi Savall (correct spelling and all), yet it does not show in Jordi Savall Artist or Album list. This applies to several of his albums.
