if they don't have any distribution agreements in place, then they wouldn't have a selection to show . . . .

On the civility front, there’s nothing in my post that was ad hominem, the subject of my sentence  concerns the response, not the person.  It’s kind of ironic though that I am being called out for civility by members who think nothing of using language like “the big  finger” and “FU” (now deleted but still emailed to me) and to whom you apparently give a free pass to so conduct themselves.

 

@Norton -- the only place where vendors have official areas or threads is in the "sponsored forums" area -- @The Computer Audiophile just happened to put "official" in the title when he started the thread hoping people would put like posts in the same place.  threads in non-sponsored areas may or may not be monitored by vendors.  since you did not tag anyone specifically at the vendor, the support was offered by PAR.

Long ago, you posted that it would be six to eight weeks following the US release but this has proved to be laughable so I am just seeking some timeline.

As a former owner of the French produced Devialet, an amazingly wonderful musical piece of gear, I am used to the very unique and binary French notion of customer service:

positive: a gallic shrug 

negative: indifference (and possible raised middle finger)

So I ask again, to you the North American representative for Qobuz, kindly respond with some thoughtful statement as to a timelime....if you're planning the gallic shrug....forgettaboutit....

Its got to be a setting in your app.  Have you checked to see what resolution you're downloading?

@David Craff -- the following two albums have an issue -- the first track does not play (i use roon), but the subsequent tracks do.

I have a Hegel H390 connected to my network. When using the Mac OS Qobuz app I see a section called DLNA / UPnP under audio output - and there I see the Hegel.   I do not see this under audio output on the Windows version. 

Is this as expected?  Or do I have a firewall issue?  Or some other problem?

wow that's interesting.  the tracks are NOT greyed out in roon . . . . are we to assume that info is not being provided to roon?

 

not sure why anyone would provide incomplete pieces of music as part of a streaming subscription.  is the intent to be a sampler and for users to go and buy the album?
