Lies about vinyl vs digital

So what’s going on here? Could the issue be that these aren’t lies so much as not accounting for awful ADCs and digital mastering techniques?

As ever your contribution might as well have been scripted as demonstration that being an audiophile is less a hobby than a way of life based on the rigorous pursuit of nonsense, superstition and self regarding vanity.

although for dynamic range IMHO you can't really beat a good recording of Mahler 2 from unaccompanied soft voices to ff full orchestra plus offstage orchestra plus choir plus soloists plus organ plus bells.

or just listen to the proms live every night from Friday for the next 10 weeks or so.
