I lived with vinyl for decades. It's time is long gone. And yes, $4k for an absolute minimal decent vinyl investment, plus $29.99 to $39.99 for any new vinyl release. JC At least when I spin a LP it works. No wack job in Cupertino "upgrading" my OS and screwing up my settings. I will take a click and pop over an reboot anytime. mav52, mordante and look&listen 3 In any dispute the intensity of feeling is inversely proportional to the value of the issues at stake ~ Sayre's Law Link to comment

Well worth it over vinyl but too bad some vinyl albums are hard to find on CD. It is not the iTunes. It is the Os not "finding" my DAC. Or, in the distant past, a missing driver which killed my W4S DAC 1 for a few months.......don't get me wrong, when it works, it is great.
