sturgl
I think it's generally accepted that dedicated 2-channel DACs are "better" than the DACs embedded in most A/V receivers. That said, Integra does some pretty good stuff. I've a buddy with an Integra receiver, which he has hooked up to an Aperion 5.1 system. I've listened casually to his system for hours on end while playing poker at his place, and I've gotta say it's pretty darned musical. Personally, I run my HTPC into a Pioneer A/V receiver. In all honesty, I can pretty happily sit and enjoy 24/96 music through my headphones connected to the receiver. Is it the most satisfying option available to me? Nope. Is it musically satisfying? So long as I'm using headphones, yes, definitely. -TS Audio Rig: Transporter -> Behringer DEQ2496 -> NAD M2 -> Paradigm Studio 60s v.5 -> Treated listening room Link to comment
