Paul R
I thought I had at least heard most of the terms you hard code Audiophile types sling around so casually, but "gestalt response" took me by surprise. I just kind of shook my head when this phrase was just used on me. It was used almost like an adjective to describe how good the sound from a particular system was. I assumed he meant that the sound produced by the total of the components was better than the sound any single component would produce, something perhaps akin to synergy. But then, it could be something totally different, or just a non-sense term. Yours, -Paul Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat DAC. Robert A. Heinlein Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Wow Paul, where did you pull that one from :~) Only kidding. I've never heard the term used. In the real world your definition seems appropriate. Since this can be la la land once in a while (myself included) I await, with bated breath, the final answer.
