microRendu + Chord 2Qute + Foobar2000 help needed

Looking for some help. I am unable to play DSD files thru Foobar2000 with my current set up. If you use a microrendu feeding a 2Qute, can you post your settings? Also looking for links to good Foobar2000 resources.

You need to send DSD via DoP.

did you search the internet for the info?  i did a quick search and there are tons of step by step directions.  the sonore forum is really not intended as foobar support . . .

 

btw -- you'll also need to set up foobar as a media server and set up the microrendu as a dlna renderer.

I haven't played with this in years. Have you installed one of the UPnP plug-ins? One is pretty old and the other one is from this year.

alternative is to use minimserver -- this can be installed on your computer or nas (install minimwatch to setup minimserver).  you'll also want to install bubbleupnp server to get openhome capabilities (best to install in same location as minimserver, but can be installed on the microrendu).

 

once you've got those running and setup, you can use a wide variety of apps as control points.  if you want to control via your computer, use linn kazoo.  if you want to control from an ios device, then you can use kazoo or lumin.  from an android device, best to use the bubbleupnp app.
