Renerator
Hello all. Can someone tell me what would be the longest run for a Digital Coax cable from my PC's sound card to my dac? I'm looking to place my PC in a closet, which is about 20 feet away from my system. I thank you in advance. The Computer Audiophile
Hi renerator - According to Wikipedia the maximum cable length for an S/PDIF coax cable is 10 meters or 32.808399 feet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S/PDIF#Hardware_specifications Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
Renerator
Thanks Chris. I'm going the HiFace to DacMagic route. I really need to stash that PC away in a closet. Thanks again.
