Popular Post jandersonhill
Just to say a big thank you for getting mine out today - Christmas is coming early! You’ve turned these around really quickly 🙂 Superdad and PYP 1 1 Link to comment

But seriously, this has been a very satisfying week You should all feel proud of what you’ve accomplished - and that’s before I’ve even listened to the unit! Now enjoy the well deserved weekend break (oh, and I’d invest in an electric glue gun 😉 ) Link to comment

jandersonhill
I spoke too soon, my EtherRegen isn't arriving today - it's stuck in Memphis and Fedex don't know why! Link to comment
Popular Post jandersonhill
I have to say the interaction with Uptone Audio is second to none. Far too many companies will sell you a trip to the moon and, once you've paid, say "it's up to you to figure out how to get there!". Uptone actually engage and offer helpful advice, even (or especially) in such a complex area such as grounding. Obviously, it helps that they also build fantastic products! jandersonhill
Same here, although I found the screws a tad difficult to remove. I ended up using rubber gloves to get enough grip on the screwdriver and rotating the opposite side of the unit to use the unit as a lever! I may get some new screws as, while the screw heads are fine, the paint on them has gone AWOL. Link to comment

But you really need T10x85mm (in Europe) to get good grip. I didn't know there are different sizes T10, so perhaps Superdad should add this to the manual, because a misfit can destroy the screws. Ah, good point about the 85m, I seem to have missed that in the instructions. Link to comment

But expansion and contraction from heating of case seems to make them tighter. I did wonder whether it might be easier to wait for the case to cool down before trying to extract the screws 🙂 Link to comment
