USPCB A-> Micro B

Hi Alex,

I saw a comment in a thread (which i cannot find now) relating to the release of a USB A-> Micro B, USPCB , eagerly awaited by this Chord Hugo user.

Please can you offer an update on the situation?

I am using a curious 'link' at the moment, but have just tried the Chord Qutest with the USPCB therefore would like to be able to discount the cable effects in my comparison.

Just now seeing this thread.  The microB version of our USPCB Adapter will be ready for shipment in two weeks.  The boards have been in assembly and we should receive them shortly.

Price will be the same $35 as for the other A>B versions.

 

The moment we have them, a third option will appear in the Orientation drop-down on the USPCB order page.  The USB ‘A’ to micro’B’ option will also appear on the ISO REGEN page since a USPCB is included “free” with every ISO REGEN. 

 

We know that a lot of you—especially Chord DAC owners—have been waiting a long time for the realease of the microUSB version of our unique adapter.  We appreciate your patience and are glad the wait is just about over.

Great, thanks!  I hope everyone who asked for this version orders one as we are going to have to sell a lot of them before breaking even on this run of 250 pieces.

Ordered. Hoping that when attached to my Hugo 2 it does not put too much strain on the micro-usb port which seems to be a little delicate......

In answer to my own question...... Received this today and it is an absolute perfect fit with the IR and Hugo 2 - no stress or strain on the port when DAC and IR are on a level surface. Obviously by design! Thanks UpTone, another great addition to your range.
