Richfletch92
Good evening all, I was looking for a little help with buying a decent pair of headphones instead of going for another "gaming" headset. I'm currently using sennheiser game zeros which are pretty good but I was hoping to something with a bit better directional sound. I've also got a Asus essence stx II sound card in my PC as well. I'm looking to spend a maximum of £300. Ideally I'd like over ear and not open-back. Thanks in advance Link to comment

Popular Post EdmontonCanuck
Are you a PC or console gamer? Are you following the buzz around Audeze's new planar, PC-gamer focused Mobius headphones? 5.1/7.1 3D surround with head tracking. Bluetooth wireless to boot. They have an Indiegogo page where you can jump in and pre-order at a discount (regular $399 USD, and I think you can still jump in for $269). Released in June. You can follow the buzz over at Head-Fi davide256 and buonassi 2 CAPS Pipeline with HDPlex Linear PSU running Win10 64 bit, AO 2.0, RoonServer, HQPlayer -> T+A DAC8 DSD -> Linear Tube Audio's MicroZOTL2 Headphone Amp with Mojo Audio's Illuminati Linear PSU -> Focal Utopia/Audeze LCD-3 Link to comment
jcn3
as was pointed out above, the head-fi.org headphone forum is a much more active place for gaming headphone discussion. They're comfortable, and have noise-cancelling microphone that minimizes background noise so you can stay immersed in the game. And they are ok priced. Link to comment
