Popular Post ronfint
I haven't yet seen any comments on the quality of the sclk-ocx10; so I thought that I’d make a few remarks. I received mine yesterday. This is one of the biggest improvements that I’ve ever made to my audio system. I've added it plus an sps500 to an sps500 powering an sms200ultra and a tx-usb ultra. Absolutely everything has improved by quite a bit. The soundstage has expanded, and instruments in it are very clear. Bass has improved, lower with more clarity, and music has more power — like a live performance. Right now I'm listening to McCoy Tyner's “Sahara” (digitized from LP to 192/24) and it's more alive than I've ever heard it. The only downside is that five sotm boxes is a lot. I've got them stacked in a trapezoid and I’m using short cables; so at least there isn't too much of a mess. Solstice380, auricgoldfinger, elan120 and 1 other 4 Link to comment

With 5 boxes, 2 racks with 3 and 2 components is the order of the day. Should certainly sound better than stacked modules and the footprint won’d Be that much bigger than a standard ‘Ultra’ box. You’d need to check with May regarding availability If it looks better than what I currently have, I guess that I'd consider this. I honestly don't believe that there would be a difference in sound.
