The audiophile press naturally panders to it because they see dollar signs. MQA has little or nothing to do with the enjoyment of music, saving bandwidth, or high resolution. It's a licensing scheme designed to extract fees labels, hifi manufacturers, and sucker audiophiles. Safely ignore MQA. It redefines the term garbage.
