RiseFall123
I don’t know the other sources but for my Roon + iPhone 8 Plus + Chord Mojo sound so good that I am even thinking to buy a second iPhone to use it stable as endpoint. davide256 1 TV: Philips 55PUS7502-12 / Hi-Fi: Roksan K3 - miniDSP DDRC-24 - Elac Debut Reference DBR62 - Moon Audio Silver Dragon USB - AudioQuest Sydney RCA - Ricable Ultimate Speaker - Dirac Live 3 / Headphones: Chord Mojo - Dan Clark Audio AEON Flow Open / Source: Raspberry 4 Pi - Roon - RoPieeeXL / Gaming: Xbox One X / Tablet: iPad Pro 10.5 Link to comment
rrwwss52
A great somewhat inexpensive Roon endpoint is the old Bryston BDP-1 (I have two of them). Can be had on the used market for less than $1K. Built like a tank. I think sound quality is better in MPD mode, but the Roon mode is very good. Link to comment

And this iPhone works like any other endpoint ? Meaning I still can use my iPad or PC and play from Roon ? I can't see my iPhone from the other controllers. Do I miss a trick here ? Can anyone answer why I can use my iPhone to play Tidal music in my stereo (iPhone X > lightning USB-3 camera adapter > USB-A to USB-B cable > Schiit Eitr > coax > emmlabs DCC2 and it sounds good. Yet, when I listen to IEMs with my iPhone X > lightning USB-3 camera adapter > USB-A to USB-C > Earmen Sparrow DAC >> balanced cable to Fiio FH3 IEM, I get iPhone EMI intermittently (some places worse than other) which is not present when using my MacBook Pro with Sparrow and IEMs, or when I put phone in airplane mode.
