agladstone
What are the Amperage / current limits? Link to comment
adamthebrave
Both they are 10A. I used to feed one PC with a 65W TDP. The one with 3 outputs was the base for the PicoPSU + PPA USB Card V3, the 9V was free. The other one with the PPA battery adapters was the source for two PPA OCXO moduls (motherboard and SSD). The first can run the PC for about 2-3 hours, the second one for min. 6-8 hours the 2 OCXO's. Link to comment
agladstone
Thanks , so they need to be charged first and then unplug and use and then charge again? Link to comment
adamthebrave
No, sorry if I was not clear. It operates completely automatically. So you set up, plug the charger into the wall, the charger into the Black Lightning, the Lightning into your device. While the Black Lightning is in standby it chargers automatically itself. It has 2 pack of batteries inside, during operate uses the one and charges - if it is needed - the second. When I was used with my PC, this type of use consumes more than the charger can compensate, so after - in this case 2-3 - a couple of hours you switch to the AC. When I used it more than 3 hours the red LED in the front started to blink, I switched to AC, and if I would like to use it more, after ca. 1 hour of charge and use I could switch it back to battery mode. The PSU's are voltage independent, the charger has to be good for your power. I'll check them and get back to you. agladstone 1 Link to comment
adamthebrave
Sorry about the late answer, one is good for both 120V and 230V and the other is only 230V but I can transform it to voltage independent. Link to comment
adamthebrave
Sorry for the late answer. You can't make 24V from this LPSU, but it is a very good PSU! Link to comment

kelvinwsy
No thanks - I was thinking of powering my 6700k CPU with twin 12 v - i guess it need at least 100watts and that would be 2 x 9 amps at least to be safe. So I guess not suitable anyway. Thanks again Link to comment
