Ralf11
gaia - what country are you in? get the Mogami Gold if easily available - they are well built you can ignore those arguing that expensive cable sound better until they can produce some valid listening tests - most of them are candidates for a Darwin Award and play silly games ;] gmgraves 1 Link to comment

Ralf11
"Audio interconnect cables have no effect on sound quality." one exception to George's correct stmt above - noise can sometimes get into a component via single-ended cables, so balanced cables (& properly designed components can reject that noise) - in that respect, interconnect could affect SQ too bad some mystic unicorns on here keep claiming science and engineering is BS, as freshboy did above Link to comment
Ralf11
the OP is in Italy and wants low-cost cables - any help for him? are the Amazon ones above available there? any good quality balanced cables should be just fine also, in exchange for a few cases of Barolo & Brunell, I volunteer to send him some cables... Ralf11
I don't see anything unusual about the Belden 8402 mic cable - I bet it is well made and will sound as good as all the others... BTW< was looking at a Benchmark white paper the other day and they WERE able to measure distortion at speaker cable connections - they like and sell cables with Neutrik connectors Link to comment

Ralf11
How many amps are likely to flow to some 3.7 Maggies during a transient? I have some arc-welding connectors I could gold-plate if I need to, but they seem happy with the recessed bananas on those things... Link to comment
Ralf11
7 minutes ago, exdmd said: AudioQuest Water interconnects. They are considerably better than the Blue Jeans cables they replaced. Worth the difference in price to me. Here is a link to a review scroll down and read the comments from the studios who are now using Water. I see that Bruce Lee's prophecy is now fulfilled Link to comment
Ralf11
Speaker cables can make a significant difference because cone drivers present a reactive load, not a simple resistance. No reason they need to be expensive. Link to comment
Ralf11
BTW, Neutrik connectors are nearly gas-tight Link to comment
