Popular Post Milt99
I grew up with The Beatles from Ed Sullivan to Let It Be, and I love what is happening with their catalog. From the Capitol releases to buying English and German import vinyl with the hideous faux stereo to the original Toshiba\EMI Abbey Road CD(beautiful) to the Mono Masters(killer), the Green Apple 24/44.1 stereo(good for Abbey Road & Let It Be) to Love and now Sgt Pepper. Call the remix by whatever name you wish but this is the way George Martin would've constructed the mix if he had had the technology that Giles has. Paul McCartney finally got the version of Sgt. Pepper he wanted. I sprang for the full-on Japanese boxset and don't regret it for second. Sgt. Pepper has never sounded so good. Nice write up, Chris.
