Popular Post Musicophile
After my Top 5 Classical Albums, here's my personal best of list for Jazz. It wasn't a particularly impressive year for me in terms of new releases, but all listed are still very much worth checking out. https://musicophilesblog.com/2017/12/25/my-top-5-jazz-albums-of-2017/ Melvin, Booster MPS and Nikhil 2 1 Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment

ronfint
Thanks very much for this and happy holidays! I hope it's ok to add to your list. Here are some of the new jazz albums I've enjoyed this year. They feature some great saxophone playing by Nubya Garcia, Shabaka Hutchings, and Kamasi Washington. Ezra Collective: 'Juan Pablo: The Philosopher' Nubya Garcia: 'Nubya's 5ive' Cameron Graves: 'Planetary Prince' The Comet Is Coming: 'Death to the Planet' They are all available on Bandcamp or Tidal.
