What's on your Christmas list this year?

Recommended Posts

All I asked for was new tubes for my humble integrated amp. They arrived earlier than expected:

  • Genalex Gold Lion 12AX7
  • Mullard EL84 (matched pair)

Nothing for me - I'm finally just enjoying my setup. Evidenced by the fact that this is my 6th post for the whole of 2017.

I'm looking forward to see what the new version of Dirac will be like, but that will be well after Xmas.

Better power supplies, dual subwoofers (after all...I 'Can' ask for anything lol) like the SVS 16 Ultra's and a chainsaw.  I like to be eclectic in my xmas list as much as I am in my music ;)

Ryzen 7 2700 PC Server, NUC7CJYH w. 4G Apacer RAM as Renderer/LPS 1.2 - IsoRegen/LPS-1/.2 - Singxer SU-1/LPS1.2 - Holo Spring Level 3 DAC - LTA MicroZOTL MZ2 - Modwright KWA 150 Signature Amp - Tidal Audio Piano's.

That Nativ looks sweet.  Are you connecting to the Bluetooth speakers or to your system?  Which speakers?

One of these and some DynAudio Xeos would be a sweet, simple system.  Especially if a couple of these would fit: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/08/samsung-unveils-2-5-inch-16tb-ssd-the-worlds-largest-hard-drive/

I'm also looking at the PS Audio DirectStream not for Christmas but after TAX time, depending on the refund, DS or the DS Jr.

Right now, it's Unobtanium.  But one persistent rumor is that it will decode up to DSD1024.  We'll see.
