JezQ
Now that the new products have been announced, are we any nearer a date for the much delayed release of the update? eternaloptimist 1 Link to comment

JezQ
Very pleased to see the updates on your progress Tommy. I've had to pause my involvement with the beta as it is of no use to me unless system wide like the older version was. Not really interested in faffing around with virtual cable as suggested by Dirac. Really keen to install it again when the beta is more mature and has the expected functionality. In the meantime I look forward very much to reading about your and other people's experience with it. Link to comment
JezQ
More than a month sìnce the last comment. Has everyone successfully implemented the new version now? Thoughts? Link to comment
JezQ
Sorry if this is a naive question. Is it possible to get the Calibration tool 2 and use it with the old live processor? I have no interest in a plugin, I want Windows wide room correction not just for one device or media player. Thanks. ps. Happy anniversay on the original post :) Link to comment

Popular Post JezQ
Latest info from Dirac Hello, you should be able to login here as usual: https://portal.dirac.se/sign_in.php while you cannot login here: https://live.dirac.com/login because your account and license will be transferred when you will receive the upgrade to Dirac Live 2.x The upgrade will be free of charge. We are working on the new Dirac Live 2.x standalone version for PC and Mac that will use AU or VST plugins, it's not ready yet but we can send you a beta that is expected within the end of this month. Please note that you'll need a DAW or player that supports standard AU or VST plugins like for example JRiver Media Center, Audirvana (now for Windows as well), Foobar, etc. Alternatively one might use a virtual cable like Audio Hijack that will route the music stream to the plugin to then redirect it to the DAC/audiocard. Please let us know if interested in your email being added to the list of those who will receive it, best regards wgscott and sound_cycle 2 Link to comment

JezQ
Finally decided to go ahead and install v2 after holding off until hopefully it was a usuable product. It's been a long, long wait. If there is anyone else here who is still holding out, I have good news. I had a couple of minor issues, quickly sorted, but now my Windows 10/JRiver 26/Dirac is running smooth as butter and sounding better than ever. Link to comment
JezQ
@flak I am replacing my current media pc. Do I have to do anything special to transfer Dirac from the old machine to the new one? I have a v2 licence. Link to comment

JezQ
Sorry for not being clear. After creating the filter ( in Dirac 3) and installing it in JRiver's DSP engine, Dirac does it's thing with 44.1 48 etc etc, but JRiver remains silent when I try to play an 88khz file. As a workaround I set the output of those files to 48khz so that they will play. I had hoped that Flac, or someone else could explain why. Link to comment
