Audirvana AirPlay streaming

Audirvana will stream wirelessly to an Apple AirPlay device, such as Airport Express. However, unlike iTunes, only one AirPlay target device at a time can be selected, AFAIK.  That kind of defeats the purpose. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Added Rogue Amoeba Airfoil app, as suggested by Damien ($29). Can now stream Audirvana or HQPlayer output to all wifi-connected devices in the house.

Fail. Upon furthur listening, Airfoil considerably degrades SQ, adding a lot of hiss through the USB/DAC circuit. I do not recommend this app. I'm back to iTunes with Airplay until I devise a better networking solution.

Audirvana will also stream to Foobar2000 UpNP plugin if foobar2000 is running, and APlayerMini renderer:

Aplayer is tricky, though.  You have to go into aplayerconfig and choose WAV out option at the bottom.

 

Both are handy if you want to stream Audirvana to a Windows machine.
