The volumes are : iTunes volume Audioengine A2 volume on speaker volume through ASUS Xonar Essence ST control panel Which ones need to be set at 100%, which ones don't Basically what are the optimal settings I should be using to get the best sound? Audio_ELF Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 My advice would be set iTunes and ASUS volumes to 100%, now adjust the A2 speaker volume to a comfortable level. Then day to day use iTunes to adjust the volume as you are listening as this works via remote (if you're using it). Eloise Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
