Does anyone have experience with this DAC, which promises hi-res sampling? I'm currently connected with a Mac Mini and prosaic Griffin iMic, which I have a/b'd with my Linn LP12 and Arcam CD73, amped with Arcam A80 into Linn Kans. It doesn't do so badly. I rip cds to iTunes as AAC files, but have many hi-res files as well. I'm currently recording from vinyl with Garageband.

 

I'm curious about a modest step up, and it seems that there are inexpensive usb dacs out there using the same chips as the Arcam CD deck.

 

Although I don't mind spending a bit of cash, I'm also aware of the laws of diminishing returns.

 

Any thoughts?
