Need a USB DAC

I'm looking to get a dac for about $100 (i know that's pretty cheap). I plan to use this with a Alessandro MS-1. I was wondering if you could recommend any good dac's for that price.

Welcome to Computer Audiophile magma_saber. You certainly have challenged everyone with the $100 price range, but good sound can be had in this general vicinity. I think a good USB DAC is the Fubar II from Firestone Audio. Here is a link to my review of the DAC. It is a little more than you want to spend at around $137, but you may be able to pick up a used one for much less.

thanks, i'm gonna look into the fubar II. I don't mind spending $137. What about the EMU 0202? Which one is better?

I have no direct experience with the emu products but I've heard really nice things about them.
