The design is clean and the interface easy to handle.

Settings (top right) as well as wired and wireless connections (bottom right) are accessible right from the main screen. So no need to click trough the prefs tabs ...

we are familar with those icons from other softwares... so I think they should work as expected.

But, well, it's just a screenshot ... so obviously I also could be wrong...

I recently reported distortion w/AV+ 3.1 /Mytek 192/DSD Dac/ Mac Sierra.

It was the Dac!

Lampizator Euforia has no distortion, and sounds WAY better than the Mytek.

Frequent bursts of stuttering hasn't been fixed, after various efforts. Macmini into ultrarendu into iDSD micro dac. A+ 3.1.5. Roon only gives me issues on dsf256 files, for yet to be determined reasons. Been just now inspecting the Activity Monitor, but all looks to my limited know-how to be kosher ...

Today I did a new sync with iTunes, after loading some new albums in iTunes, and got an not so old A+ problem back again:

 

When I initiate syncing the preferences did go back to standard settings; I am using a large font so I could notice this immediately.

After that I have to pare the remote app again.

 

Another problem I sometimes have is that A+ is playing another song than displayed. It's not a big problem because I play my music mostly random.

 

Nog a big fuss, but perhaps useful information for Damien in his search to make everything working perfect.

Right now, I got this problem again out of the sky, I think. Perhaps it has something to do with autodetect MQA devices, but I'm not sure.

@damien78 Any plans on an update of the remote app? For most of your current user base, this is the most important improvement in daily life you could be working on.

It brings:

• New sort criteria: decreasing Date Added
• MQA albums and tracks highlight to easily spot them in TIDAL, and in your local Library
• Select and configure the audio device from A+ Remote settings

I have not tested it directly. But you can ask dCS if they have made the test, though it means simply to test it is fully compatible with the DLNA renderer standard. You can also tell them to contact me directly.

This is a new one.  I am on 3.07 (purchased in August).  Upon start-up tonight, A+ asked for my license key. When I entered it, the result was negative.  I tried several times but with no success.  The next step was to try to buy the software again and then ask for a refund.  However, A+ wouldn't even let me do that.  When I try to go to the Audirvana Pus website, the website times out.  I have tried accessing the site through several devices so I suspect something is wrong here and that it is not user error.  A couple questions if I may:

 

1) Is anyone else experiencing A+ problems like this?  (it worked perfectly last night)

2) Any recommendations for a good back-up music player?

Glad to hear that.  Good changes proposed.

Having said that can we also get the app close to Tidal app?

For example:

Lets say I am listening to a soundtrack and I like a song from an artist on that soundtrack and like to explore and see what other music that artist has.  There is no way for me to just jump to that artist from that album unless I use the search.

Or I like an artist and like to listen to top songs from that artist.  No way of doing that.

How about an artist radio on Tidal.

Basically the Tidal integration on existing remote app is weak.

I will gladly pay for a new app that has full Tidal integration so that we are closer to what Tidal app is doing.

I have been using Audirvana for a month, and recently purchased the A+ Remote on my iPad. Correct me if I am wrong, it seems that if I want to use the A+ Remote on my iPhone, I have to pay another 9.99 USD for the iPhone version? I don't see it under Purchased in App Store (on my iPhone).

 

I love the sound and the convenience in managing my Music Library (I am not using iTunes integrated mode). So far my setup is:

AIFF/WAV files stored on NAS -> Audirvana (MacMini) -> Audioquest Carbon USB cable -> Cambridge Audio CXA80 Amplifier -> Cambridge Audio S60 speakers.

 

I would love to seek for advice. In the above configuration, do I need to buy a Network Streamer/player (i.e. Cambridge Audio CXN)? In other words, what are the benefits of getting the CXN, and if so, do I still need to use Audirvana (if using CXN)?

In iCloud you have to create a familly... then you could share that purchase to one member for free (your iphone). Not need anything more
