Hi Jud, You can but you should not ...! When I forced it to do so, I only got a horrible distortion from my Mac Pro. It's not allowed by OS X nor by Mac processors. ------------------------ A question from my side. I have a license for A + 3.1, I removed this version and tried to install 3.01 (to check differences in the SQ mentioned by some). Before installing it, it tells me that I'm not connected to the internet (which is not correct) and it does not allow me to install it. What other items should you uninstall? Thank you, Roch Link to comment

I like Izotope more, I'm not in Tidal, etc., with a Mac Pro (where there may be less processor overload problems). But as always, everything is a matter of taste. Roch buonassi 1 Link to comment
elcorso
Clean OS X system helps a lot. I always keep a copy of the installers. The same with A+ I'm still on Yosemite (10.10.5) and I have not had any problems. If you want to strictly follow Apple OS X upgrade way, you could get in problems! Roch Link to comment

A bit paranoid. But I also wonder what else it is retrieving. Besides, this hack won't stop it from being pirated. There has long been software available to block such activity and, since OS X is unix, all it takes is a command line in bash to block it permanently. There are many users who want to have the latest version (not me). In any case you always have the option of not checking for upgrades. And talking about paranoiacs? Roch Link to comment

So, being a nice guy I'll explain it to you. The app is using administrative rights to gain to open ports and communicate. Once open, anyone who wants can gain access to the computer in question. This is why no one wants to apps to have access without their approval. This is an old issue that has cropped up in the past with other apps. It will not stop anyone from pirating the software and it opens the door to root kits. If you don't know what a root kit is, google it. Yes, I probably do not know anything at all ... But Google is for the poor minded, so maybe I know something... Anyway, my mother warned me never to get involved with paranoids or trollers and you are looking for problems since you entered this forum ... Or is someone sent by competitive software ? Roch PS / Trying to avoid more trolling I leave this thread now. look&listen, Jud and pl_svn 1 2 Link to comment
