Just saw this lovely advertisement/review on AVGuide for the Furutech GT2 USB Cable. The best part are the comments posted by irate unbelievers.

I think it's interesting to note how little is commonly understood about what digital transmission is or isn't, with the most common misconception being that issues with timing can be lost in the frenzy to define what a 'bit' is. The thread echoes a lot of what we've discussed here, both pros and cons.

 

Upshot? If you're curious about any audio component, go listen for yourself. Because, as always, YMMV.
