jriver
You might try updating the version of the downloader that you are using. An updated HDtracks Downloader is available for Windows here: http://files.jriver.com/partners/hdtracks/HDtracksDownloader180076.exe And for OSX it's here: http://files.jriver.com/partners/hdtracks/HDtracksDownloader180076.dmg The full history is below. 18.0.76 (11/19/2012) 1. jriver
I'm not aware of this as a known problem. It's possible that it varies from album to album. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment
jriver
I checked here and we don't think that the track number is provided with the download information. You could talk with HDtracks and see what they know. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment
jriver
I believe that this will change in early December, but you could download as FLAC and convert to WAV now. You won't lose anything. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment

jriver
One issue remains - the track file names do not come out numbered, as they previously did. Thanks for the kind words. Numbering will return soon. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment

jriver
I know of no other problem like that, so it's possible the install was completed. "Security" software can also sometimes make problems like this. Here are the direct links: An updated HDtracks Downloader is available for Windows here: http://files.jriver.com/partners/hdtracks/HDtracksDownloader180111.exe And for OSX here: http://files.jriver.com/partners/hdtracks/HDtracksDownloader180111.dmg Reboot and reinstall. The new Downloader always checks for any open orders. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment
jriver
Don't want to rub salt into the wounds but I'm also having terrible trouble in downloading a 150$ order although I believe the problem is due to my location here in Italy, howerver I had no such problems earlier in 2012, the download manager is stalling or continuously closingIn HD Tracks defence they were very quick to reply to my email, although I'm still waiting for notice of my refund. Can someone suggest an European site for Hi Def downloads?? That is almost certainly a rights issue. It would be nice if you could use a thread that is on the topic of European rights. jriver
Did you try working this out with HDtracks? Your description sounds like a bad experience, but there are so many things wrong that it also sounds like something more basic going on. If you were running on Windows, I would guess antivirus software. On Mac, I don't know. Removing partially downloaded files could cause a problem by itself. Other possible problems: Hardware, and yes I know you said other downloads work. Network dropouts. If you're on a wireless connection, try wired. The app doesn't crash on quit unless something else is going on. A hung network connection, for example. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment
jriver
Exactly. If the networks actually drops out, you get a window prompting for your password (I tested by disabling Wifi..). If a hung network connection can get your app to crash, you may want to consider giving up on developing apps altogether. No comment. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment
jriver
Just got a response from HDtracks:They state that they are currently not available internationally (I'm in Ireland). When I ordered, I was able to select Ireland as country, and pay with an Irish credit card... They will refund me. I don't think they sell in Ireland yet. They added Germany recently. jriver
Country? One of the problems is in Ireland, and I don't think HDtracks is available there. Jim Hillegass / JRiver Media Center / jriver.com Link to comment

jriver
I cannot get their Download Manager to accept my password to save my life. Everything they've told me to try does not work. Frustrated... Case matters. Probably for both user name and password. Try having their system e-mail you your password. Then copy and paste it.
