Michael Lach
I've signed up for Apple Music via iTunes on my Mac, with a library of 140k songs. I currently have a standard spinning radial lines indicator next to the Genius playlist, and a non-standard spinning nearly solid circle perimeter in the upper right corner, with "waiting for apple to deliver your icloud music library" displaying when I click on it. I'm sure it'll take a very long time to match, upload, and sync my library. I'm curious about what the steps are in the process, though. What happens next? Is this all the user feedback I get? Will iTunes show be upload percentages? Link to comment
kirkmc
I don't know. I suspect it's like iTunes Match, and could take days for that many tracks to match or upload. I'm not taking the chance with my full library yet; I've seen too many problems with artwork and tags being changed. (I have a test library on my laptop.) Michael Lach
Ok, you've scared me off. I'll cancel and wait. It'd be great to see screenshots of the whole process to migrate an iTunes library from a Mac to Apple Music. Kirk, hope you'll keep checking on the the artwork/tags issue, to see if Apple can fix that soon. Link to comment
