I sold my PM2 and it now lives in a mastering studio in Paris. I was contacted by the studio early last year and they explained that they were on a quest to find the absolute best ADC money can buy. I won't go into the ADCs they told me they had tried (name one and it's probably on the list) but the quest was certainly conducted thoroughly and diligently. I received an email from my contact at the studio today who told me they are over the moon with their purchase. According to him, it's certainly the best ADC they've ever tried. A fitting end to this thread, I'd say. Mani. You'd think there would still be a market for a no-holds-barred ADC with super-custom technology, just like there's a market on the other side for no-holds-barred DACs with super-custom technology.
