Sw to rip CD in aiff format (UBUNTU)

Hi everyone,

i've recently moved to UBUNTU Studio from MacOS. 

As I have all the files in AIFF format, I would prefer to maintain the same format for the new files I'm going to rip. 

Can you suggest a good sw to rip to aiff format in UBUNTU?

Use cdparanoia and convert to whatever format you prefer after ripping. Some front-ends will do this automatically and add metadata too. If you like the command line, I suggest the "abcde" tool. There are no doubt GUI options available, but I can't comment on those.

Indeed "abcde" is a good tool but it seems there is not an option for AIFF?
