mvilla
Hi everyone, i've recently moved to UBUNTU Studio from MacOS. As I have all the files in AIFF format, I would prefer to maintain the same format for the new files I'm going to rip. Can you suggest a good sw to rip to aiff format in UBUNTU? Thanks in advance for your support Massimo Link to comment
mansr
Use cdparanoia and convert to whatever format you prefer after ripping. Some front-ends will do this automatically and add metadata too. If you like the command line, I suggest the "abcde" tool. There are no doubt GUI options available, but I can't comment on those. Link to comment
mvilla
Thanks mansr for your note. Indeed "abcde" is a good tool but it seems there is not an option for AIFF? Massimo Link to comment
