I like the free Voxengo Tube Amp plugin in combination with the Prequrso2 analog plugin.  Curious is there are any other good tube amp plugins to be had?

Fantastic article. As a life-long tape enthusiast, that was a joy to read. I am loving getting back into tape and haven't listened to a digital recording in weeks at home (work is where I am using A+, et al.). Thanks for sharing.
